Lily Batteson
Colour has always been important to me and I have always been a keen observer of art. After training as a Registered Nurse and later qualifying to work as a community nurse I was always amazed the effect colour and art could have on my patients and their optimism.
Unfortunately I was forced to take early retirement due to a spinal injury and took up painting as a hobby whilst I was immobile.
I like colourful and quirky paintings and always paint in either watercolour or acrylics using bright and fresh colours. I want my pictures to be bright and positive. I believe that everyone should own their own piece of original art and I always aim to produce art of the highest quality but at a reasonable price.
